CARL-VICTOR KRÜGER

About me

Born in 1999 in Karlsruhe in Germany, Carl-Victor Krüger is of Franco-German origin. Since his childhood, he was fascinated by cinema and 3D animation, that he learnt as an autodidact. After an European baccalaureate, he perfected his knowledge in animation as a trainee at Studio 88, Baden-Baden. Then he made his first experiences in television production at Kimmig Entertainment and Saarländischer Rundfunk. In 2021 he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Film Production from Middlesex University. Thus he acquired experience in all stages of film production: script, production, directing, camera, lighting, editing and post-production. His knowledge of 3D animation and special effects are very useful for his work. During this period, he shot several films, commercials, documentaries or fictions, such as The dog and the art thief, which was selected in several festivals. In 2022, Carl-Victor Krüger finished his short film Opération 1414, a Franco-German production, winning the prize for best science fiction Film at the Kosice International Film Festival and which was selected in multiple festivals, among others, at the 28. Filmschau Baden-Württemberg 2022 or at the Indie Shorts Awards Cannes 2022.
